Asphaltene Inhibitors

Separatore03

Asphaltenes are a class of compounds in crude oil that are black in colour and not soluble in n-heptane. Within this context, they originate with the complex molecules found in living plants and animals, which have only been partially broken down by the action of temperature, and pressure over geologic time.

Asphaltene inhibitor is valuable in solution, so they represent the key of minimizing your cost and lost production through keeping them in solution from the reservoir to the refinery.

But this kind of product has a few operational problems since most asphaltic crude oils have stable asphaltenes.
