Paraffin Inhibitor

Paraffin inhibitors consist of oil-soluble polymers that bond with paraffin in the crude. They are used to protect the well bore, production tree, and subsea pipelines from plugging.

These natural components prevent wax deposition on pipeline walls, by modifying shape and size of paraffin crystals; so that the crystals stay dispersed and do not agglomerate.
