Petrochemicals refer to all those compounds that can be derived from the petroleum refinery products and natural gas.  

They cause certain production issues in oil companies such as:

  • Lubrication and hydraulic systems will foul from degraded oil treatment chemicals and other product ingress.
  • Some units will become contaminated with high and low boiling point hydrocarbons that generate high levels.
  • The capacity of some pumps couldn’t remain consistently good, even when temperatures are high or very low.
  • Specific corrosion problems will occur of sulfur compounds, naphthenic acids, hydrogen gas, hydrogen attack, naphthenic acid corrosion and polyphonic acid corrosion.
  • Leakage of volatile organics from valves, pump glands, flanges, and other process equipment.
  • The possibility of fouling the oil units with heavy high molecular species that will damage completion systems and pumps.

Secondary Recovery 

 

  • Secondary Recovery When the natural pressure drops below the minimum level, reservoir exploitation can be made by an artificial process of ‘’ water injection ‘’ . Sea water, river, brackish or recycled water can be used for this operation, but necessary treatment should be used to solve related problems.
  • Chem provide specific products for each type of treatment.

 

Flow improvers and stimulation products

Specific products water base or oil base that increase production. The products injected in squeeze or in not producing wells. Also Chem formulate some types that can be injected with gas lift or inside wells to increase flow production and decrease viscosity.

 

Water Disposal

At same formation water separated after dehydration system must be treated and reused in oil purpose as injection water or treated before disposal. Treatment is depending on application and purpose. All types of treatment chemicals produced by Chem International.
